Carlos Ceron is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Grayson. Small to medium stocky build, lots of room to get stronger, middle infielder's build. Works from the stretch with a short and quick arm action, lands a bit open out front, limited lower 1/2 use and drive down the mound, very simple and repeatable mechanics. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, lots of strikes with the pitch, also landed a soft curveball consistently, pitches to contact. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from an open narrow stance with a good lower half shift into contact, creates separation out front, has a solid fundamental swing and flashed the ability to barrel up the ball. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
