Brandon Castellon is a 2025 C/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Archbishop Coleman Carrol. Medium, athletic build with room to continue adding strength. 7.76 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher, works off of one knee, natural receiver with athleticism shown getting out of the stance. Compact arm action to a higher three-quarter release point, developing arm strength, gets rid of it quick with accuracy to the bag. Secondary middle infielder with smooth lateral movements. The hands work well with a clean funnel out front, clean arm action and accurate throws. Showed good rhythm throughout the round, recorded throws up to 74 mph. Switch hitter, hits from the same setup from both sides of the plate. Even base with his hands tight to his chest, lower half gets rotational at times, gap-to-gap approach and showed solid barrel accuracy from both sides. Solid foundation to continue building upon as he gets stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
