2022 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Friday)
Lucas Ricci is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Wayne, NJ who attends Wayne Hills. Extra-large, physical build with present strength throughout his frame. 5.66-second runner during the forty. Primary right-handed pitcher, full wind up with an above-the-belt leg lift, repeats delivery well. Strong lower half, incorporating his legs well to drive down the mound and remain on line to the plate. High 3/4 arm slot, creating downhill action for his fastball. Up to 79 mph with his fastball as he cruised in the mid-to-upper 70s with more left in the tank. Showcased full arsenal, landing all four pitches for strikes. 12-6 shaped curveball with some depth. Right-handed hitter, setting up with an even, balanced stance. Compact stroke, pumping his hands, flashing some juice to the pull side when on time. Produced some loud contact during his round of BP. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
