Ander Elorriaga is a 2028 C/RHP/1B with a 5-8 167 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Mount Pisgah Christian.Medium, athletic frame with present physical strength proportioned nicely throughout frame. Ran a 7.59 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, sets feet well and gains ground coming out of crouch, tight release with strong arm and carry down to second base, shows accuracy on throws and repeats very well. Also pitched, leg lift to waist at start of delivery, works to a mid three-quarters release point, tends to open front side early but ball comes out of hand cleanly; topped out at 84 mph this look, will continue to refine consistent release point. Developed nice feel for curveball throughout, sharper life later on, up to 73 mph. Maintained velocity well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and even base, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Quiet hands at start, lots of strength in them and shows ability to create leverage in path, generates jump off of the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of the field, occasionally mistimed in mechanical operation.
