Will Roche is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends Boston College High School. Nicely build and athletic overall frame with time for more overall. Primary position IF, with the look of an offensive corner infielder long term. Solid base, with good angles allowing his glove to work accurately out front with good actions. Good arm strength with velocity up to 81 mph on throws across the diamond with decent accuracy. Has a feel for the position, showed some hop to his actions and will continue to progress with time. RHH using a wide, even stance and a high hand set and a hanging trigger for timing and energy. Lofted stroke with good launch and there is juice at contact due to strong hands. His feet are active in the swing and when he is focused on the oppo gap there was some real hit tool here. Shows the physicality to be an offensive impact longterm and is an interesting follow in the short term to see how good it gets and how quickly it gets there. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
