Amari Hackett is a 2025 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Los Angelas, CA who attends Mira Costa. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, funnels into body, extra step moving into release, shorter arm action through the back, will continue to refine overall footwork. Also pitched, small side step moving into a belt high leg lift with a slight coil at the top; clean arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, tends to work across body at times, incorporates lower half into delivery. Curveball shows 11-5 shape up to 64 mph from a similar slot as the fastball, shows depth through the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Shows quickness to hands and keeps them inside the ball, shows strength to the opposite field, best contact when getting extended out front. Loads hands back at start of fields, can work to all fields and looks to incorporate hips well in to swing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
