Joshua Weiner is a 2007 OF/1B from Westhill HS in Stamford, CT with a 6'2", 185 lb. frame. Joshua has a strong athletic build and showed good potential at the plate during the showcase. At the plate he has strong hips and good hands to produce consistent hard contact. Joshua's best contact comes when he stays short to the ball, as he a tendency to over-rotate his hips. In the outfield, Joshua has solid actions to the ball with good arm strength and carry. Joshua is a good student in the classroom with nice potential at the plate. He looks to be a mid-level college prospect.
