Brady Heron is a 2022 C/ with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from West Hills, CA who attends El Camino Real HS. Brady is a sturdy and strong player who has the skill set that should allow him to project to the next level. In addition to his noticeable game on the diamond, Brady is also a plus student in the classroom. He ran a 7.92 60 yard dash. A primary catcher, Brady is solidly built. His stout body looks to able to handle the rigors of the position. He has an easy set up and presents a low profile at the ready. His hands are noticeably soft and he receives the ball well. He gains ground like a professional player. His arm stroke is advanced and his 73 mph throws are routinely accurate which allows for a consistent 2.08 pop time. Solid approach that will only get better. At the plate, Brady has a firm idea of what needs to happen with a stick in his hands. He is balanced at the ready. He is a big strider and has a power hitters steepness to his swing plane. He does a good job of getting his barrel to and through contact with force. He flashed some decent raw power potential. Sound fundamental approach with a clear understanding of swing mechanics. Brady is a an advanced HS player with a mature feel to his game. He has a chance, with continued work in all phases and a dedication to the weight room, to be a special player, Solid projectable talent.
