Cedar Cline is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Arcata, CA who attends Arcata. Features a tall, lean frame with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a tall and fall delivery with moderate effort throughout. Overhead arm slot creates solid down angle. The fastball topped at 79 mph with ride through the zone. Occasionally will generate slight armside run. Has the ability to work the offering up and down. Paired with a low-60’s curveball with 11/5 action. Flashes tight spin and sharp downward action. Mixes offerings well. Has good pitchability and competes well on the mound. Still has plenty of projection left. Arm strength also played throughout infield work outs. Footwork profiles better at a corner. Flashed sound feet at first base. Calming body movements would allow for more consistent glove actions. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a narrow setup. Creates good separation during load with a long stride. Pure pullside approach. Has some loft within swing. Combines with rotational power to hit some balls hard to the pullside. Ran a 7.73 60-yard. Very good student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
