Crew Elrod is a 2028 C/RHP/1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends Baylor. Big, physical build for the age right now with a very study lower half. Primary catcher, two hands receiving out front to quicker transfer, gets out of the crouch early, clean transitions with a short arm path and developing strength to get it there with carry, gains ground well and showed general feel for the spot. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stretch only with hands at the belt, leg lift to belt and medium arm swing to three-quarters slot release. Four seam fastball with very low spin up to 68-mph paired with low 50's curveball with looping spin traits. Left-handed hitter, even base with a flat path, shifts to backside in separation, inconsistent bat path through the zone with occasional strength on impact. Has a good idea behind the dish with good fundamental base, potential power projection in the swing given the size if some adjustments are made.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
