Drake Swiger is a 2023 C/RHP, 1B, 2B, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Adairsville, GA who attends Model. Ran a 7.20 seconds sixty. Primary catcher with an average build. Receives the baseball with from hands behind the dish sitting in a side straddle stance. Transfers the ball cleanly at the mid line with young actions coming out of the crouch. Showed a longer arm action with some arm strength on the throws. Plays the ball away from the body on the infield with firm hands. Moves through the ball quickly with young footwork making strong throws across with average arm strength. Worked from the stretch on the mound with a low leg lift before working online to the plate with a longer arm action to a low three-quarters arm slot. Fastball showed some arm side run at 69-73 mph with young command. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base creating little separation pre swing. Did a nice job of getting the bat head out front on time and impacting the baseball to the pull side with projectable feel for the barrel.
