2020 California Workout Camp (Saturday)
Dylan Knowles is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Medium to Large frame with a lean build showing some fast twitch muscle. Ran a 6.62 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, showing great first step instincts as he worked smoothly to and through the baseball. Clean gather out front and was very confident with the leather. Quick transfers and then threw it 82 mph across the diamond as he was accurate from multiple slots. Instincts showing and is fundamentally sound. Switch Hitter, from the left side, starting balanced as he works into a simple load and trigger. Very quick hands as he whips them through the zone with feel for the barrel. Impacted with authority as he drove it into both gaps. From the right side, similar stance and start as he utilized the same approach. Generated big time bat speed and launched baseballs. Proved to have some juice in the bat and will hit for power from this side. Outstanding Student. Named to California Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
