Matthew Autry is a 2023 3B/RHP/UT with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends Collierville. Compact athletic build with good present strength. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Solid actions in the infield on defense, fields the ball cleanly out front, comes to the ball aggressively, makes accurate throws with some carry, second base body but does have some third base tools. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance with a short line drive swing, stays compact and direct and has an accurate barrel, high contact approach that he executes well. Also pitched, tall delivery with a short stride out front, full quick arm circle, works quickly. Fastball topped out at 80 mph early, mostly straight. Change up was his best pitch with nice arm speed and sinking life. Flashed some spin and depth on his curveball. Effective secondary pitcher when he's throwing strikes with his fastball. Excellent student. Named to the Memphis Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
