Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a toe tap trigger, creates strength driven bat speed, best when he is hitting under control and driving the middle of field, ball comes off the barrel hard when squared, tends to change his eye level during his swing when he over swings. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, bends is knees fielding and gets his glove down on time, lateral quickness and balance will continue to improve with work and repetitions, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot with some carry across. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch and has a very high leg raise start and a tight 3/4's arm slot. Primary fastball pitcher who worked consistently in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, gets big sink and run on his fastball when its down in the zone, power sinker characteristics. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
