Jack Scully is a 2026 SS/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Cactus Shadows. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.86 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, longer strides moving towards the ball, fields it out front, compact arm action through the back to a lower release point, shows arm strength and carry across the diamond, tools to play third base as he continues to add strength, makes the plays. Also pitched, does a nice job of using length to create downhill plane and work down the mound; maintains arm speed well through release, fastball topped out at 81 mph. Will continue to refine a consistent release for curveball, breaks from hand early, tends to slow on release of the pitch up to 67 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and open stance at the plate with a lower back elbow and hands away from body; loads hands back at start of swing. Does a nice job of staying short to the baseball, linear path through the zone with carry off of the barrel when generating leverage at point of contact, best contact to the middle of field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
