Cooper Powell is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Bedford, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Medium frame with a lean athletic build, good room to add strength. Primary left-handed pitcher, very clean and fluid delivery with lots of looseness and ease as a whole, repeats well and gets down the mound with good intent and comfort. Worked in the 82-84 range with the fastball, comes out clean from a high three-quarters release, hides it well and sinks it a good bit to the bottom of the zone with tons of strikes. Really good feel to spin the breaking ball, late 1-to-5 bite with depth, able to both land and bury it, sequences it in well and able to miss bats in bunches. Really easy to project big things. Good student. Verbal commitment to Dallas Baptist.
