Carson Adkins is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 6-0 158 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland Christian. Nice young athletic build with lots of projection ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high back elbow load, has quick and strong hands for his age, inside swing path with a line drive swing plane, works the middle of the field and showed some carry to right centerfield, projects well as a hitter. Has good athletic actions in the outfield with and easy arm stroke from a high 3/4's arm slot. Took a turn on the mound as a left handed pitcher, works out of the stretch with a simple and repeatable delivery, has a short stride out front and tends to fall off to the third base side at release. Fastball worked in the mid 70's and topped out at 77 mph. Change up was his best secondary pitch, turns it over with nice tumbling action, also threw a curveball. Good student. Named to the Florida Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
