Jacob Tyndall is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Merritt Island, FL who attends Merritt Island. A wiry frame and slender build with room to add some strength. Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher who worked from a three-quarters arm slot, gets good hip-shoulder separation as he moves down the mound. Advanced feel for his pitch mix, mixing in a curveball that had bigger 12-6 break to it. Then also showed a high-tilt slider with good sweep and sidespin carrying it away from left-handed hitters. Showed a changeup as well that had some depth, and was able to use the pitch against right-handed hitters, getting swings and misses. Mixed his pitches well and was efficient. A left-handed hitter who starts with a wider base and then shifts the weight forward, using a toe-tap into a stride forward through the zone. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
