Shane Smith is a 2028 3B/RHP/C with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Saint Johns, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Recorded an 8.80 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a young build. Looked comfortable and moved well in the infield. Good bounce to actions and ranged up the middle well. Clean funnel into throws. Also worked out behind the plate and gained ground well, using a short arm action. Right-handed hitter and begins from a wide base with a high elbow and hand set. Has some wrap and looks to lift the ball. Served liners throughout round with consistency. Also pitched and threw exclusively from the stretch. Starts delivery with a leg lift to waist level and utilizes a long arm action through the back, releasing from a high-3/4 arm slot.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
