Cade Townsend is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Aliso Viejo, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic HS. Large frame and build with solid strength and room for more. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Fastball topped out at 94 mph with natural cutting life and some explosiveness up in the zone. Very advanced offspeed arsenal with a slider that gets north of 3000+ rpm spin and a hammer curveball with depth and spin as well. Vertical curveball and horizontal slider to go along with feel for the changeup. Dynamic metrics on the stuff and knows how to miss bats. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Ole Miss.
