Dru Wilson is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Porter Ranch, CA. Primary outfielder that oozes early signs of twitchy athleticism in his actions. He works with pace to attack the ball, carries the momentum well into the throws. Clean gather and footwork through release. Above average arm with quality carry and accuracy at times. In the infield, he preps well with quick lateral actions to get himself into comfortable fielding postion both in the hole and up the middle. Varied the slot comfortably as necessary. High energy at both spots. At the dish, he sets up with even base and flat hands, works it in to a small hovering kick. The bat speed is noteworthy with effective scissor kick of the lower half that allows his barrel to really snap to impact. The approach was geared to the pull side throughout the round and lived on the barrel. Low effort operation with budding power, On the mound, its an athletic delivery with short stride down the hill. Loose arm action is repeated well. Curveball played well off the fastball ad got better the harder he threw it. Arm talent and savvy is obvious. 7.26 60-yard. Outstanding student.
