David Zazueta is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Rio Rico, AZ who attends Nogales. Tall and lean frame with long levers and a high waist. Primary left-handed pitcher, full delivery, side steps into a belt high leg lift, full arm circle in the back to a high three-quarters slot. Velocity continued to trend up as he settled into the outing. Fastball has hard arm-side life to it, up to 87 mph (2299 RPM). Mixed in a curveball with 1-7 shape and depth that he can land for strikes, up to 72 mph (2158 RPM). Also threw a changeup in the upper-70s (2127 RPM) with fading action. Repeats the delivery well and pounded the zone with strikes. Good student.
