Austin Nipper is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Waycross, GA who attends Brantley County. Medium frame with strength in the lower half present. Ran a 7.57 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, proved to be athletic in the stance. Received the baseball well in game and showed feel for framing. Also had a strong arm to go with it as recorded a pop time of 1.94 seconds. Feel for the position showing and is fundamentally sound, making him projectable here. Secondary Third Baseman, quick first step as he proved to have some lateral range. Confident glove work present. Gathers out front before working into a quick release. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 80 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a belt high lift out of the windup. Drives off the backside before releasing from a three-quarter slot. Full intent in the delivery as he sacrifices command for velocity. Fastball up to 79 mph and mixed in a slurvy breaking ball. Right-Handed Hitter, upright in the stance and slightly open to start. Heal lift trigger as he works into a short stride while creating separation. Fires the hands and stays linear as he looked to drive it back up the middle. Showed some pop when he timed it up properly. Great Student. Named to Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
