Evan Festa is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Coronado. Long and lean frame with good physical projection. Ran a 6.95 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, working with a quick paced delivery as he lifts before driving down the hill. Short arm action in the back as he released from a high three-quarter slot. Whip to the arm as proved to generate easy velocity with more in the tank down the road. Four pitch mix flashed. Fastball with cut up to 80 mph as he dotted up the corners. Mixed in a late diving changeup that he tunneled exceptionally well off the fastball. Two breaking balls in the arsenal. Slider showing sweep and tilt as it proved to be his better breaking ball. Curveball showing 1-to-7 shape that is still work in progress. Big projection on the mound as he is mechanically sound and will make big strides with a strength gain. Secondary Outfielder, working quickly into the baseball as he took efficient routes. Slows down momentum into the gather as he makes sure to scoop it up. Arm strength showing as he threw it 80 mph during drills with accuracy. Left-Handed Hitter, starting with hands tucked while in a balanced position. Low leg trigger as he starts the load late before working his weight onto the front side. Slightly uphill path as the hands come from a low position. Looked to pull the baseball when possible.
