Jairo Camacho is a 2020 RHP/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Westside. Medium, athletic frame with some strength proportioned throughout. Recorded a 7.86 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows a smooth and fluid operation on the mound with an up-tempo delivery. Full arm action through the back working up to a high three-quarters slot. Uses his lower half well and creates good extension towards the plate. Fills the zone early and often with a heavy fastball, topped out at 81 mph and is able to miss bats. Worked exclusively off of his fastball in this look. Repeats mechanics well and held velocity throughout time on the mound both from windup and stretch.
