Joshua Ojeda is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-9 116 lb. frame from Clermont, FL. Has a slender build with athleticism present. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who fielded the ball up the middle with two hands, making a quick transfer, and working through the throw. Longer arm action, but clean and able to make accurate throws to the bag. Showed good athleticism overall during his round. Right-handed hitter who starts with a wide stance and the feet even, hands set high, and back elbow up. Tilts the barrel back but is able to use a short leg lift to stay on time and get that barrel through the zone with a simple swing. His swing worked well to the pull-side and projects well as he fills out and adds strength. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher was able to throw strikes, pitch to contact, and have success doing so. His fastball worked up to 79 mph and held the mid-70s. His curveball was slower and bigger around 60 mph and was a nice change of pace to keep hitters guessing. Allowed just one base runner and was efficient during his outing on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
