Miguel Sandoval is a 2024 1B/UT with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Slender build with plenty of room to keep adding more as he gets older. Ran the 60-yard dash in 6.87 seconds. Primary first baseman, worked through the ball with smooth hands and a quick transfer. Showed the ability to make the routine plays, still working on controlling the body, has a tendency to move to fast and get out of sink.Displayed a strong arm with decent accuracy, was clocked up to 65 mph on throws across the diamond. From the mound, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a quick sort arm action. Hides the ball well throughout his delivery, the fastball got on hitters quickly sitting 71-80 mph with natural sink. From the plate, hits from a narrow even base with a high back elbow, displayed a direct path to the ball, flashed decent bat speed consistently driving the ball to his pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
