Wilson Shaw is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Port Charlotte, FL who attends Lemon Bay. Slender young athletic build. Works from a closed stretch on the mound and lands closed out front, low effort delivery with athleticism that he repeats very well. Fastball worked in the low 80's mostly and topped out at 84 mph, threw his fastball for strikes, velocity played up with his delivery. Slider was an outstanding pitch, thrown to spots with plus feel and ability to repeat, hitter's had no chance against his slider. Also showed some feel for his change up. Impressive performance. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Has easy athletic actions in the outfield on defense, arm works really well, also plays first base. Left handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a well timed and under control swing, has twitch to his hands and creates some bat speed. Chance to be a top prospect if he continues to grow and get stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
