Luke Paulsen is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-2 140 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Aledo. Long and very lean build with lots of room to get stronger. Loose and athletic actions on the mound with an easy long arm action, lands closed out front with a cross body angle to the plate on his pitches, arm tends to be late causing him to miss arm side consistently. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, has plenty of velocity projection, gets some sink low in the zone and cutting action when he can get it glove side. Sweeping curveball flashed some depth at times. Will add velocity as he gets stronger and will improve his command with adjustments to become more directional in his mechanics. Good student.
