Dimitri Santiago is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends Vineland Sr High-South. Big and strong build, especially in the lower half. 5.69 runner in the forty who plays first base on defense. Best tool is his right handed bat, hits from a straight stance with a short and direct hand path into contact, has feel for the barrel and makes barrel adjustments well, slashing aggressive swing that can drive the ball to all fields, swung it well in the games. Also pitched, has a rotational delivery with an extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with lots of running action in the zone. Mixes his fastball with a soft curveball and a change up he had some feel for. Plays with lots of energy and enjoys playing. Bat is his tool. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
