2022 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Nigel Sebastianelli is a 2023 SS/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from St. Catharines, ON who attends Sir Winston Churchill. Solid frame with a very symmetrical build, looks bigger than 6-0/175 in a good way. Powerful athletic kid. Primary position MIF, with developing footwork and smooth glove actions. Showed some twitch and hop in his step, works through the ball with good angles. There is present arm strength from a nice short, infield appropriate arm action that created velocity of 81 mph across the field. LHH working from a narrow, even stance and a hanging leg lift. Strong hands with a line-drive swing plane resulting in consistent loud contact. Clears his backside well and generates excellent torque from the mid-section. Displayed nice loft and power to the pull side with more to come over time. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
