Cole Carroll is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Allen, TX who attends Allen. Long and slender build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a short shift into contact, big barrel wrap load, has some hand quickness but still developing the strength to create barrel whip with his long path, projects as a hitter if he can get stronger. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has loose actions through the ball, fields the ball off his left foot, has a low release point with an uphill angle to his throws, makes accurate throws, showed nice game range going back on the ball. Also pitched, works from a higher slot, high 3/4's with good downhill angle. Fastball topped out at 80 mph nice arm side life at times, also threw a soft curveball. Good student.
