Tanner Robertson is a 2024 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Zebulon, NC who attends East Wake Academy. Large frame with present strength, durable build for a power oriented athlete. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 7.29 seconds. Primary position IF, moving quite well on his feet bending at the waist to get the glove out front. Uses the leather well with smooth actions and really showed refined feel on the back hand play. Multi slot throws based on play and consistent accurate feeds across the field up to 79 mph. Reps in the OF as well, using choppy steps to get on time with play. Deliberate midline transfer into deeper path to build good carry on throws with clean rotation. Does work from a lower slot here but he handles himself well in this spot. RHH working from a slightly open stance and hinged over the plate to start. Flat barrel over the shoulder pre-pitch and uses a steeper approach to impact. Hands are strong and active in the swing. Tends to roll the ball over a bit early but when he stays on plane and inside the ball got off the barrel in a hurry. Very good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
