Cade Collins is a 2024 SS/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fort Collins, CO who attends Dakota Ridge Senior. Long and lean frame with lots of projection remaining to add strength. Ran a 6.93 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, direct first step with quickness that helps with good lateral range. Easy mover with upside and actions that should stay on the left side as he develops. Soft hands and feel for angles and timing. A left-handed hitter, solid foundation with looseness to the swing. Good timing out front and has an advanced all fields approach. Can adjust the hands to make solid contact in flight. Doubled and homered during game play at the event. Also pitched, pounded the zone from a submarine slot and forced weak contact. Excellent student.
