Cameron King is a 2024 SS/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 182 lb. frame from Barnesville, GA who attends Lamar County Comprehensive. Recorded a 6.77 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and strong athletic build. Easy mover with long strides on the infield with clean funnel to both sides. Works around the ball getting his feet inline and throws across the diamond at 86 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a belt-high lift and full arm swing 3/4 slot delivery down the slope. Clean delivery with loose arm action and fastball up to 83 mph. Featured a curveball with solid 11/5 depth at 73 mph and a straight changeup at 76 mph. Repeats the delivery with feel for a three-pitch mix. Worked in the outfield with aggressive approach to gather and throws to the bases at 85 mph. Right-handed hitter with an even base and balanced stance in the box. Controls the barrel with length through the zone. Leverage and strength out front with impact to all fields. Good student. Named to the National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
