2022 Sunshine Texas Showcase
Garrick Williams Jr is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-2 192 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands College Park. Large frame with good physicality and athleticism to the build. Ran a 6.97 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, active process with good intent down the hill, compact delivery, hides the ball very well and has good arm speed through three-quarters slot while getting good length over the front side. Fastball worked in the 84-87 range with great life while showing feel for higher spin breaking ball in mid-70s. Can get good tempo and work across his body to give fastball a tougher look. Also worked out in the outfield, easy movements, shorter release and arm strength plays. Righthanded hitter, good bat speed and quick hands, gets the barrel out well with strength when he's behind it, whips it through impact well and has things to build on. Named to 2022 Sunshine Texas Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
