Jordan Balkcum is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Phenix City, AL who attends Phenix City Central. Recorded a 8.36 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame solid build primary catcher. Side saddle stance with strong lower half and uphill slot on throws at 69 mph. Sits deep while receiving and stands up to throw with little ground gained. Quick exchange for pop time of 2.15. Right-handed hitter with open stance and big toe tap trigger. Creates separation with big hand hitch and toe tap to even stride. Impact to middle and pull side with timing and linear path through zone. Strength out front with swing path and timing being essential with big pre-pitch movements. Good student.
