Jeffrey Lopez is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Immaculata-La Salle. Medium, athletic build with solid physical projection. Ran a 7.83 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a full windup delivery, small side step into a belt high lift, works with a quick tempo, repeats well and allows him to pound the zone with a two pitch mix. Fastball has straight, riding life up in the zone, up to 80 mph (2067 RPM) and showed feel for a curveball that he manipulates shape of in low-70s. Secondary outfielder, under control on the charge, fields it with one hand and carries the weight through the baseball, compact arm to a three-quarter slot, comes out of the hand well. Accurate around the bag, recorded throws up to 77 mph. Right-handed hitter, even squared base with the hands set high in the stance, medium leg lift trigger stride, slight barrel wrap in the load, works hard to get inside the baseball and impact to the opposite field. Developing strength off the barrel which should continue to come as he adds strength. Tremendous student.
