2022 Chicago Indoor Showcase
Nathan Schnur is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Taft. He has a large frame with a thicker build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.88 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He uses a big leg lift that goes above the belt and does a nice job of working in line with the plate. He has a short, compact arm action and fires from a high 3/4 arm slot. His fastball has some late cutting action as it goes through the zone. His curveball has 12-6 shape with nice depth and downer action. It has nice bite when he releases it out front and shows potential to be a swing and miss type pitch. His changeup has solid velocity differential and he was able to use it to keep hitters off balance effectively. Secondary outfielder that waits on the ball and fields it deep. He throws with the same arm action that he did on the mound and could add velocity by working through his throws with his lower half more. Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright stance with a narrow foot set. He uses a leg lift trigger and gets his foot down early. He has a flatter path through the zone and uses a rotational swing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
