Espn Simpson is a 2024 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Centennial. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Powerful arm on the mound, muscular build and gets good push off the rubber. The right-hander has aggressive downhill action with short arm action. The fastball sat low 80's and topped at 83, pitch has late arm side run to it. Has good feel for his breaking ball, sharp pitch with 11/5 action with bite. Shows a good changeup as well. Works quickly and is a natural strike thrower. Arm works well in the infield as well and his throws have good carry across the diamond, was clocked at 85 throwing from third to first. Shows good range for third base. Strong swing at the plate with a simple weight shift and has impressive pullside leverage with intent. Great feel for the barrel and had an outstanding round of BP. Lots of strength in the bat here.
