Jeffrey Claycomb is a 2026 C/3B with a 6-1 184 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Rowlett. Strong young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a back tap load, limited lower half shift into contact, has strong hands and fires them hard, gets big jump off the barrel when he gets it out front, has pull power on his pitch and gets the ball into the air. Primary catcher on defense, has compact actions in his exchange and throwing, comfortable in his stance and works through his throws, plenty of raw arm strength. Also played the outfield and has plenty of athleticism and arm strength for the corners. Good student. Named to the Class of 2026 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
