Andres Rivera is a 2022 3B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Silver Spring, MD who attends Wheaton. Recorded a 7.25-second 60-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with tons of strength remaining to be added throughout his build. Primary third baseman, flashed some range going to his backhand. Present arm strength with throws up to 81 mph across the diamond from an over-the-top arm slot. Could make some improvements to his footwork and fielding process. Secondary outfielder, displaying clean glove actions, fielding out in front of his frame. On-line throws to his target, up to 82 mph. Showcased athletic actions at both positions during defensive workouts. Right-handed hitter, tall and narrow stance with a high-hand set. Displayed present quickness to his hands with barrel whip through the zone. Peppered the games with line-drive impact with present power to the pull side, producing loud contact throughout his round. Good student. Named to 2021 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
