Grant Shepherd is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland High School. Lean high waisted young build with lots of physical projection ahead. Left handed hitter, has a short and quick strike with the beginnings of some bat speed, hands fire on time and get the barrel out front, has some lift when he's turning the barrel, can get more lower half involvement into his swing, lots of projection here. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions in the outfield, moves through the ball well and gets his glove in good position to field it, loose arm, gets on top of his throws well and makes accurate throws. Also worked out at first base. Took a turn on the mound, has a simple and efficient delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph to go with a curveball, threw strikes and had a quick inning. Good student. Named to the South Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
