Caden Birch is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Reno, NV who attends North Valleys High School. Features a lean build with athleticism present. Good runner. Ran a 6.86 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Displayed solid glove actions with the ability to field it clean consistently. Still developing consistent footwork and momentum into the catchpoint. Was accurate with most throws using a shorter arm action. Reached 82 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a slightly open base into a small leg kick timing mechanism. Shows loose hands on a direct path. Approach consistently works gap to gap. Has some strength at contact when squared up. Right-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of the stretch. Uses a short arm action into an overhead slot. Fastball sat 75-76 mph with ride through the zone. Can generate whiffs when elevated. Pairs it with a short, mid-60’s curveball. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Very good student. Named to the Northern California Prospect Showcase Top Prospects List.
