2020 Northeast Prospect Showcase
Thomas Galusha is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Middlebury, CT who attends Holy Cross. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Primary pitcher, long stride downhill, gathers well in back hip, hooked arm stroke to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 80-83 mph and peaked at 85 mph, flashed curveball with 11/5 shape and good depth, also showed changeup. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, strength is evident, gets the barrel out at times and is capable of driving the ball, shows solid hitting tools overall. Worked out at first base and showed off the arm, clocking up to 85 mph on throws. Excellent student, named to 2020 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
