Tungsten De Arte is a 2026 RHP/C, 1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Esperanza. Features a bigger build with strength present. Ran an 8.14 60-yard dash. Worked out as a catcher and at first base. Utilizes a high setup behind the plate. Throws using a short arm action release. Still refining the overall footwork out of the crouch. Used a patient approach to ground balls at first base. Range profiles well for the spot. Will make the routine play. Arm strength is still developing. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a high back elbow setup. Shifts weight hard onto the backside using a toe tap load. Showed quick hands to contact using a direct swing path. Approach is geared to the pullside. Flashed the ability to get the barrel out front and drive balls that way using strong frame. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy. Adding loft would allow the power to play more regularly. Also threw on the mound. Righthanded pitcher. Utilizes a low effort down the mound. Throws from a compact, overhead arm slot. The fastball sat 66-69 mph with heavy sinking action. Will get the offering in on right-handed hitters. Pared it with a low-60’s changeup. Offering showed heavy fading action. Will also land low-60’s curveball fairly often. Flashed ability to create some bite. Competes on the mound. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
