Joshua Torres is a 2022 OF with a 5-7 170 lb. frame from Iselin, NJ who attends John F Kennedy Memorial. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the ball well and remains aggressive on the charge, developing glove work out front at the ball, shorter arm action through the back up to a higher release point, tends to get uphill at point of release, arm strength and carry will continue to develop on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and inverted front knee, high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Quick coil at start of swing, stays compact through the zone with a quick barrel through the zone, best when working on a linear plane. Contact oriented oriented approach, line drive carry off of the barrel when squared, shows potential at the plate to build upon. Good student.
