Jack Clendenen is a 2027 1B/LHP with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Temecula Valley. Features a medium frame that has some present strength in the build. Ran a 8.11 60-yd dash. At 1B, he had a solid defensive workout showing soft hands that present low and out front early fielding every GB clean. Has solid footwork around the bag as well with an average arm. At the plate, sits in a slightly open stance where his hands/barrel stay pretty neutral throughout his load. Slight gather into his backside before a quick leg lift trigger. Barrel gets on a flatter path through with avg. bat speed but present barrel accuracy. Used the whole field with line drives that flashed some decent impact. On the mound, he showed a more tall/fall type delivery. Is more hand lead out the glove for length and gets into some higher elbow positioning at landing. Works to release out of a normal ¾ slot. His fastball was into the upper 60s living on the corners and it flashed some armside run. Mixed in a developing breaking ball in the low 60s he landed for strikes as well.
