Casey Wambach is a 2025 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Sun Prairie, WI who attends Sun Prairie West. Recorded a 7.43 sixty yard dash time. Long frame with a good build that projects well. Primary shortstop, Works up the middle of the field well. developing hands with some arm strength with solid carry when he gets his weight moving. Also threw an inning on the mound. Works with a medium arm stroke and three-quarters release. Quality secondary option. The fastball has quality carry through the glove to pair with a burgeoning slider. The change-up is straight and could use an uptick in arm speed to hide it a bit better. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base with a simple shift. Looseness to the stroke with loft and some adjustments and strength away from real power. Impacts it out front with launch. Pull-heavy approach with some solid contact. Exciting young player with some two-way potential. Great student. Named to the 2023 Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
