Ty Besker is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Mater Dei Catholic. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.04 seconds and showed good speed on base paths. Hits from uptight, even-based stance with barrel tilt in load, simple and repeatable movement patterns into swing, stays under control, solid barrel skills with clean path, will continue driving the ball more as he gains strength. Worked out in the infield, shows solid lateral agility to both sides, plays low to ground, hands work out front and to forehand, stays balanced through strides, clocked up to 79 mph on throws across. Excellent student.
